5th Wheel Base Rail Installation Kit Recommendation for 2015 GMC Sierra 2500
Question:
will a reese quick install rail kit # rp50066-58 work? I have 2015 gmc 2500hd 4x4. will the existing holes in the frame work ? I will be pulling 2011 big horn w/a dry weight 12000 lbs. thanks

The easiest 5th wheel base rail kit to install is the custom type that requires less drilling (it uses existing holes in the frame) and less overall installation time compared to less-costly universal kits like # RP30035. The Reese kit # RP50066-58 that you referenced is such a custom-fit type and is a great choice for your Sierra with 8-foot bed. The linked installation video shows this kit being installed in a 2012 Sierra.
Base rail kits are designed to work with industry-standard hitches of all ratings and so the Reese kit will work fine with any compatible hitch no matter what its rating.
