Adapter Recommendation for Vehicle 4-Way to Charge Trailer Battery
Question:
I have 2 vehicles that I need set up the same. They are a 2010 Toyota Venza and a 1999 Toyota 4 Runner. The Venza has a round tube Curt hitch from your site and the 4 runner has a 2inch square tube hitch. They both have 4 pin connectors. I need a 7 pin RV connector to charge my RV accessories battery. I do not need a brake controller. Will this part work and what additional parts do I need to run to connect to the battery? Thank you

Yes, the Adapter part # 30717 would work for both vehicles you have so that you can run a charge wire to your vehicle battery.
To complete the 12 volt circuit you will need to run a length of 10 gauge wire like part # 10-1-1 (sold by the foot) through a circuit breaker like part # 9510 to the positive terminal of your battery. The rest of the wires would need to be just taped up and secured out of the way.
