Will the Kenda Loadstar K399 Bias Trailer Tires work with a Trailer Weighing 3,600 Pounds Loaded

Question:

Is the tire capacity per tire? My trailer has a max loaded weight of 3,600 lbs. Do I look at max axle weight? Would I need to increase the tire capacity?

The maximum load of the Kenda Loadstar K399 bias trailer tire # AM1HP52 you referenced is 1,100 pounds at 50 psi per tire. When choosing a tire you want it to meet or exceed the axle capacity.

If you have a tandem axle trailer, 4 of the Kenda trailer tires # AM1HP52 is more than enough for your setup. If you have a single axle trailer, you would need to increase the tire capacity to meet or exceed the axle's capacity. Currently, we don't have a tire in this size that will meet your trailer's loaded weight. The only other option would be to go to a larger tire and wheel size. If you only have one axle, let me know as I would be more than happy to recommend other options.

As a side note, at the maximum air pressure, the tires will perform and wear best, and get the best gas mileage.

I included a couple informative articles and video review for you.
