Recommended Parts To Convert Husky EZ Roller For Chevrolet Silverado 3500 With 8 Ft Bed

I bought a 5th wheel trailer recently and the seller included the complete Husky 16K EZ Roller hitch assembly with rails, brackets, etc. The seller had a short bed 2005 Chevy 2500 and I have a 2004 Chevy 3500. I do not need the EZ Roller portion and want to convert standard legs. Can you provide the correct part number that I need to order? Also, can you provide the installation position for either front or rear rail? Thanks

The head that is on your Husky Fifth Wheel 16K EZ Roller can be removed and you can then install Replacement Base Legs, part # HT31314 to use on your 2004 Chevrolet 3500.

It is recommended to use new mounting hardware when moving a fifth wheel hitch from one vehicle to another. The rails you received should be fine but you will need the hardware, part # HT31397. This includes the custom brackets and hardware needed.

The distance from the back of the bed to the edge of the rear base rail is 31-1/2 inches on long bed trucks. I have attached a drawing that shows the dimensions for the rails you can check out.
