Availability of 4.80 X 12 Tire that Fits 4 Inch Wheel  

Question:

I HAVE THE OLD TIRE IS 4.80 X 12 X 780 rating. BUT IS A 4inch WIDE RIM WHERE CAN I BUY TIRES TO FIT THE 4inch WIDE RIM?? I BOUGHT 4.80 X 12 X 6 PLY TIRE 990 RATING BUT IT IS FOR A 3.75 WIDE RIM AND WONT WORK ON MY 4inch WIDE RIMS. I NEED A BETTER RATING THAN A 780 That fits a 4inch wide rim.

The closest metric trailer tire size to a 4.80x12 is going to be a 145/80-12. The two tires we have in that size are # AM10140 and # AM10130. These tires fit 12" x 4" wheels.

# AM10130 has a maximum load capacity 1,220 lbs at 65 psi

# AM10140 has a maximum load capacity of 1,520 lbs at 80 psi.
