Is a Heavy Duty Flasher Needed on a 2004 Ford Escape to Tow a Trailer

You answered my question about my ford.escape the only problem is it did not come with the tow package

If the vehicle has an aftermarket harness, for a 2004 Ford Escape use # 46255, then the converter box would handle any shorts or overdraw issues before they could do any harm to the vehicle. This harness also powers the trailer lights via the vehicle battery so there is only minimal draw on the vehicle wiring. That means no heavy duty flasher is needed!
