How to Install Tekonsha Brake Controller on 2006 Nissan Frontier with Factory Tow Package
Question:
Can you tell me where the plug in is under the dash? My truck has factory tow package, 7 way, etc...and do i need the nissan plug wire that is $15? Thanks

The harness will be located underneath and left of the steering column,taped to another harness near the emergency brake pedal. I am sending you a link to installation instructions that explain where to find the harness and a picture of the location.
On the Tekonsha Brake Controller with Wiring, # 90885 and # 3050-P, it comes with the Nissan plug wire you are asking about so you would not have to buy that separately.
Since your 2006 Nissan Frontier has the factory towing package all you would need to do is mount the brake controller with included brackets. The vehicle specific adapter plugs into the back of the brake controller and the other end plugs into the port located under the dash.
