Roof Mounted Cargo Box Compatible with OEM Roof Rack of 2015 Acura MDX

Question:

I have a 2015 Acura MDX with side rails. If I install the Acura cross bars will I be able to attach a moderately sized Thule cargo box to those cross bars without having to go to Thule cross bars - which are about 3 times more expensive than the Acura bars? Thanks!

As long as the Acura OEM crossbars aren't wider than 3-1/8 inches and taller than 1-1/8 inches, a Thule cargo box should fit just fine. The Thule # TH614 Pulse Cargo Box would be a fit and would allow your rear hatch to fully open without hitting the rear of the box. I've confirmed the fit with Thule.
