Thanks for the pictures!

On your Colorado Sport trailer, I have a solution for you but the connector that came with your trailer doesn't match the typical style vehicle trailer connectors and unfortunately no adapter is available.

I recommend splicing in the Draw-Tite 4-pole trailer end connector # 18004 as it will connect with your existing 4-pole connector on your 2004 Ford Ranger. Because your trailer uses separate turn signals from the brake lights, you will also need to splice in a tail light converter like # 118158. The reason you will need a tail light converter is that the trailer wiring on your Ford Ranger is designed for trailers with combined turn signals and brake lights. This setup will allow you to keep both trailer connectors so you can tow with your truck or motorcycle.

I could not obtain the wiring color code for your trailer so you will want to determine the functions for each wire and splice the 4-pole harness and tail light converter in by function as follows.

4-Pole Harness:
White goes to trailer ground
Brown goes to trailer running lights
Green goes to green on converter input
Yellow goes to yellow on converter input

Tail light Converter:
Output green goes to trailer right turn
Output yellow goes to trailer left turn
Output red goes to trailer brake lights
Input white goes to trailer ground
