Recommended Rear Helper Springs for a 2016 Ford F-150 4x4

Question:

Hi all. I drive a 2016 Ford F-150 XLT, Supercab, 4WD with the 5.0L. 30 of the time, Im towing an enclosed cargo trailer between 5,000 and 8,000 pounds. 30 of the time, I load moderate to heavy cargo in the bed. 10, light cargo. Occasionally, cargo is in the bed of the vehicle as well as having the trailer hitched. The rest is unloaded. For safety, I do not exceed proper tongue, GW, GVW, or GCVW ratings as indicated on my placards, nor do I expect to. occasionally, I traverse rougher access or fire roads with cargo. Although at a safe speed, I find I will occasionally tap the bump-stops. Would adding the SuperSprings help in cushioning the occasional jolt? Thank you so much for your time and help. I appreciate it!

Expert Reply:

Based on the weight of the trailers and the type of terrain you will be driving on I do recommend the SuperSprings helper springs # SSR-117-47 for your 2016 Ford F-150 4x4. These springs are designed for models with stock height (not lifted) and for models with a gross vehicle weight rating of 7,500 pounds.

The ride quality, especially when loaded and/or going over bumps on rough terrain, will be much improved using these helper springs.
