I'm assuming you're speaking of the factory brake controller pigtail. The wire colors you mention don't match the ones I show, so you'll need to do some testing.
To determine which wire performs which function, you'll need to plug the pigtail into the connector under the dash. Then, use a circuit tester like part # PTW2993 to test each wire.
One wire should provide a constant 12-volts. This is the power wire that would connect to the black brake controller wire. Another wire will only go hot when the brake pedal is applied, this will connect to the red controller wire. One wire will go hot only when the headlights are on. This is the illumination circuit, which is not needed. Tape off the end of this wire and bundle it up out of the way. You'll then have two wires remaining, one of which will be the ground wire, the other will be the brake output. To determine which is which, ground the tester to the wire that showed the constant 12-volts. Touch the end of the tester to the other two wires. One wire will light the tester, this will be the ground wire which connects to the white controller wire. The remaining wire will be the brake output circuit which connects to the blue brake controller wire.
Or, if you don't care to mess with all that, you could always purchase the # 3031-P and cut off the black plug. Use butt connectors to wire the harness to the controller, color for color.
