Does the Wire Need to Be Run to Battery of a 2010 Volkswagen CC to Install Trailer Wiring

Hi ,I have a vw cc 2010 2.0 .my question is it necessary the 55151 curt wiring kit .thanks

Sounds like you are asking if it is necessary to run the power wire of the Curt Wiring Harness part # C56200KIT to the positive side of your battery since the part # 55151 is just the portion of the harness that runs to the battery.
You will have to run this wire for the wiring harness to function properly. The reason it is needed is to protect the delicate wiring of your vehicle. The # C59236 uses the taillight circuits of your CC as signal wires only and draws all of the amperage for powering the trailer taillights directly from the vehicle battery.
