Lippert Electric A-Frame Trailer Jack Stopped Working
Question:
Stopped working

When an electric trailer jack of any kind stops working there are a couple of things to check. First, the jack may or may not have an in line fuse that you can check and replace as needed. Some jacks also have an internal circuit breaker which should reset by itself. But if it doesn't then there is likely something wrong with it and the jack would need to be replaced.
A ground interruption can also cause the jack to stop working. If there isn't an obvious ground wire to check then the jack grounds through where it is mounted on the trailer. In either case wherever the jack is grounded make sure the area is clean and free of corrosion.
Finally if the jack had been over extended it can burn out the motor (if the fuse or circuit breaker doesn't blow/trip first). And you would have to replace the jack.
