Hitch Extender Availability for a 2003 Jeep Wrangler so Bike Rack will Clear Spare
Question:
I recently purchased a 2inch hitch from you. Its great but I have 1 problem. The Jeep is a 2003 with the spare on the back. I cant put my bike rack fully into the receiver because of the spare tire. I need an extension. What do you recommend?

The thing about hitch extenders is that when you use them you end up cutting the capacity of the hitch in half. So you could use a # HE06 to give you additional clearance so that your rack would clear the spare of your Jeep as long as the hitch has enough capacity when reduced by 50 percent.
