Torque Specs for Trailer Wheel Lug Nuts

Question:

I purchased a used utility trailer that has a 6 on 215/75R14 rim and tire combination...Im trying to ascertain the correct torque value for the lugs nuts but your table for Lug Nut Torque Specifications does not cover 14 inch Wheels...Any assistance would be greater appreciated...this is a great web site...

That really depends on the material of your rim and the diameter of your wheel studs.

If you have a steel wheel with a 1/2 inch stud you would use 90-120 ft/lbs.
Steel with 9/16 inch stud 120-140 ft/lbs.
Aluminum with 1/2 inch stud 90-100 ft/lbs.
Aluminum with 9/16 inch stud 120-140 ft/lbs.
