Recommended Brake Controller And Adapter For 2009 Nissan Pathfinder

Question:

Hi, I notice that there is a lot of different controllers for a 2009 pathfinder. I have a 17.55ft Jayco poptop. What would you recommend for my model? Also with this wiring is there any other wiring that needs to be done or does everything plug in? Thanks,

Since the 2009 Nissan Pathfinder has a 7-way connector at the back of the vehicle, the installation of a brake controller is really simple.

I recommend the Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller, part # 90885. This is our most popular brake controller because it is easy to install and operate.

To connect the P2 I recommend the wiring adapter part # 3050-P. You simply plug one end into the back of the brake controller and plug the other end into the brake controller harness. This harness can be found under the dash to the left of the steering column and taped to another harness near the emergency brake. There is no other wiring needed.
