Fit of Fulton # FTJ12000101 Snap-Ring Swivel Jack with Bulldog Mount on Mastercraft Boat Trailer
Question:
I want to replace my Bulldog trailer jack. It is the snap ring, swivel type and is welded to my Mastercraft boat trailer. The hole in the bracket is just over 2.5inches 2.540 and the tube that goes in is just under 2.5 inches 2.470. Do you have any 1200lbs jacks that would fit the existing bracket? I would like to avoid cutting the lid one off and welding a new one on. Thanks for your help

When I measured the inside diameter of the hole that the mount tube passes through and the outside diameter of the tube that passes through the hole on the bracket, I got right about the same measurements you did.
The inside diameter of the hole in the Fulton # FTJ12000101 is right about 2.54 inches and the outside diameter of the tube on the mount was 2.48 inches, so the Fulton jack you referred to would indeed be compatible with the existing Bulldog snap-ring mount.
Bulldog and Fulton are under the same parent company, Cequent Performance Products. My Cequent rep has confirmed for me that Fulton jacks of recent manufacture (such as the one you referred to) are compatible with Bulldog snap-ring mounts.
