Are Clearance Lights Needed on a Snowmobile Trailer
Question:
I have rebuilt a snowmobile trailer and want to put waterproof lights on it. Do I need the side marker/clearence lights?

To equip your snowmobile trailer with a basic lighting setup, you would need amber front side marker lights and red rear side marker lights.
A basic trailer would require a minimum of two each, with the front lights as far forward as possible and the rear lights as far back as possible.
The # TLK36RK trailer light kit includes the required amber front marker lights , but you could also add matching red clearance lights # A91RB with chrome bases # A91CB.
I would also recommend using liquid electrical tape like part # SWC50122 to seal your electrical connections as you are installing the lights on your trailer, to prevent moisture from getting to the connections.
