B and W Companion or Reese Hitch to fit Factory Rails of a 2014 Ram 2500 Long Bed

Question:

I have a 2014 Ram 2500 with an 8ft bed. The rails are installed under the bed, but the bed is not yet drilled out with the pucks installed. What do I need to order for complete installation of Fifth Wheel Hitch? I am leaning towards a Reese package with 20K but Im still looking at the Companion. Any advice?

You wouldn't go wrong with either the Reese Mopar Rail Kit Hitch part # RP30918 or the Companion Hitch part # BWRVK3600, but I like the Companion better.

The Companion hitches are often regarded as the nicest fifth wheel hitches around, they are made in the USA, and we rarely, if ever, have any issues with anything from B and W.

Check out the review videos I attached for info.

You might double check that you do have the rail kit under your truck bed, typically we don't see trucks that have the hitch prep package but the holes aren't drilled through the bed. All of the truck beds will have the indentations in the bed regardless of if they have the rail kit.
