Would the Bulldog Landing Gear # BD500162 Install on a Franklin Fifth Wheel Trailer

WHAT LANDING GEAR SET WOULD YOU RECOMMEND FOR THIS 5TH WHEEL. WOULD THE BD500162 WORK? WHAT MOTOR WOULD WORK ON THIS? MINE IS WORKING FINE, BUT ARE THESE INTERCHANGABLE, OR DO I NEED TO PURCHASE ONE FROM YOU ON THIS SET? THIS IS A 35foot 5TH WHEEL AND I DO NOT KNOW THE WEIGHT OF THIS UNIT OR THE RATING ON THE ORIGINAL LEGS? CAN YOU HELP ME?

Some landing gear sets are interchangeable, but due to the differences in where the weld stops are on some trailer some sets can bolt directly on and others may require modifications to those brackets for a new set to install.

Even if the # BD500162 would not bolt directly to your trailer a qualified welder would have no problem moving the weld stops of your trailer so that the set would work on your trailer.

This set has a lifting capacity of 8,000 lbs, you may be able to find a capacity listed on your current jacks. Or you may be able to find the total weight of your trailer. Chances are this landing gear would have enough capacity.
