Recommended Suspension Enhancement System for a 2012 Ford F-350 4x4 with Max Tow Weight of 15,500 LB
Question:
I plan to purchase either the 47 Medium or the 54 Heavy duty for my 2012 F350 4x4 Single wheel drive mainly to help with the load of a 5th wheel with a tongue weight of approx. 2,800 lbs Max tow weight of 15,500. Which one should I get the Medium duty or Heavy duty. Thanks,

I recommend going with the Timbren rear suspension system # TFR350SDF because it will keep your 2012 Ford F-350 4x4 more level and improve driving performance. The Timbren springs won't compress as much and have a higher weight rating.
I think you will be very pleased with the Timbren system because they are designed to work with heavy loads. The weight capacity is 8,600 pounds and will be more than enough for your setup.
The reason I wouldn't choose the SumoSprings is because they have a 1,500 pound weight rating. As a result, your vehicle will have a bit more sag under a heavy load.
Please note that all suspension kits are designed for use with vehicles whose suspension systems are in good working order.
I included a informative article about Timbren suspension for you too.
