Carrying a Dirt Bike on the Back of a 2015 Toyota Highlander with Curt Trailer Hitch
Question:
I have a 2015 Toyota Highlander Limited. I would like to get the vehicle setup with a hitch and motorcycle carrier to transport my dirtbike. Will the height of the hitch receiver using the Curt Hitch #C13200 allow for enough clearance above the ground that I wont have to worry about a motorcycle carrier scrapping on steep declines? For example pulling out of my driveway.

Once installed the Curt trailer hitch # C13200 will be directly under the rear fascia on your 2015 Toyota Highlander. This will likely provide ample clearance for typical inclines but given a severe enough incline there is always the possibility a hitch mounted accessory will make contact with the ground. This is true for most vehicles.
Most dirt bike carriers have a straight shank so the carrier platform is basically flush with the receiver on the hitch. The most popular single dirt bike carrier we have is # e98873. You can see that its platform is straight back from the shank. You would just have to use caution on steep inclines.
