Trunk Mounted Bike Rack Recommendation for a 2008 Ford Taurus
Question:
I am looking for a 2 bike - trunk bike rack for my Ford Taurus 2008. I needed suggestions and clarifications regarding mounting a womens bike. Will I be able to mount a trek womens bike Verve 3 WSD using a trunk bike rack? Kindly suggest the best trunk bike rack that would be suitable. I was thinking of a Thule gateway 2 bike model. Would this work?? Thank you.

When a bike doesn't have a horizontal top tube there is an adapter that can be used that will attach to the bike that will provide an attachment point. The part # 64005 will attach at the seat post and at the steering stem and will provide an attachment point for a hanging bike rack.
The Gateway Pro # TH88VR has been confirmed to fit your 2008 Ford Taurus so it would work great. I have attached a video for you to see all of its features.
