Measurements to Install SportRack Roof Rack on a 2014 Ford Focus 5-Door Hatchback

Question:

So, I have a 2014 Ford Focus 5 door hatch back. The website for the Cargo Rack Sportrack states that it fits my vehicle, however the instructions do not cover the Ford Focus, or any 2014 vehicles for that matter. I saw a question asked by a previous person with a 2012 Focus and I see the measurements for the distance from front to rear mounting, but there is a side to side measurement that needs to be adjusted and set also. If you could help me find this number I would greatly appreciate it.

I spoke with my contact at SportRack and got the measurements that you will need. First on the front bar the side to side setting is 26. For the back bar it is 24.

The front to back measurements for the front bar measured from the center of the B-pillar forward is 10 inches. And from the center of the front bar back for the placement of the rear bar is 24 inches.

In the installation manual you would just follow the specs for the Fiesta 11-13 model. The instructions have not been updated in a bit.

I checked with SportRack and was able to verify that the Semi-Custom Roof Rack # SR1010 is indeed a confirmed fit for your Ford Focus 5-door hatchback, as long as it's the 2012-2018 model. For earlier models (starting with 2000) you would use part # SR1002 instead.
