Mid-way through the 2007 model year, GM quit using brake controller ports. They now use a loose bundle of 4 or 5 wires underneath the dash; red, dark blue, light blue, white, and sometimes orange/brown. I have included links to a help page and a video of a brake controller install on a 2008 GMC Sierra. It should be pretty similar to your 2010 Suburban. The wire bundle usually has a white tag on it.

If you have a Tekonsha brake controller with the quick connector, you would just use part # 20127 and splice the wires to the bundle underneath the dash. There is a chart on the article linked below that tells you how to match the wires on the brake controller to the wires on the truck.
