Parts for Installing Weight Distribution on a V-Nose Trailer

Question:

I have a DuraMax 20 v-nose/wedge nose trailer that I tow with a 2009 Avalanche. I need weight distribution and sway control. However, the trailers box extends on to the tongue to a point that I do not know how a weight distribution and sway control system would fit on to the trailer.

Reese does have a different bracket available for towers with V-Nose trailers or trailers with boxes on the A-Frame tongue. These brackets, part # RP58305, bolt-on to the side of the frame instead of going over the top. Since they are not Snap-Up brackets, you will have to hitch the trailer, raise the truck and trailer via the trailer jack, attach the chains, then let the jack down.
