Towing With Trailer Hitch Installed on 2013 Ford C-Max
Question:
can I pull my under 2000lb camper with these?

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Class II hitch you referenced, part # C12092 has a 350 lb tongue weight/3500 lb towing capacity. The hitch itself could handle the load of your camper as long as its loaded weight doesn't exceed the capacity of the hitch, but according to the owner's manual, Ford doesn't recommend using a C-Max for towing.
The hitch would make an excellent attachment point for a bike rack or a cargo carrier, but I can't recommend using it for towing since Ford specifically prohibits it in the owners' manual.
