Will Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Baasket Fit OEM Crossbars On 2011 Subaru Forester

Hi Im looking into purchasing the Yakima roof basketload warrior and wanted to know if the basket comes equipped with the mounting brackets to secure on my already installed OEM cross bars.. Thanx

The Yakima LoadWarrior Roof Rack Cargo Basket, part # Y07070 does come with a universal attachment system that allows it to be able to fit most crossbars. This basket weighs 25 lbs and has a weight capacity of 140 lbs. The outside dimensions of this basket are 44 X 39 X 6-1/2 inches.

Another nice cargo carrier is the Thule Roof Cargo Carrier, part # TH859XT. This carrier will fit round, square, aero, elliptical, and most factory crossbars. This cargo carrier will fit crossbars spread (center to center) between 20 inches and 37 inches. This cargo carrier measures 49 X 40 X 6 and has a weight capacity of 150 lbs. The carrier weighs 19 lbs.

If you need something to secure your cargo in the carrier I recommend the Cargo Net, part # CS54FR. This features wide hook openings that will work with a variety of racks and measures 48 X 36 inches.

At times it is difficult to reach items in placed in the center of the vehicle roof. I recommend a tire step like part # HE4040. This easily slips over the wheel and folds flat for easy storage when not in use. This tire step has a 400 lb weight capacity.

You will want to check your owner's manual or with your dealership to make sure you do not exceed the roof weight capacity for your Forester. I have attached some links to product videos you can check out.
