Brake Controller and 7-Way Adapter Recommendation for a 2012 Toyota Tacoma  

Question:

I have a 2012 Tacoma that came with a receiver and four prong connector. How do I convert to a seven prong and will this controller work with the set-up on my vehicle?Thanks, I have gotten mixed answers from people in my area.

We have exactly what you need to convert your 4-way to a 7-way. For that you will want the Brake Controller Install Kit and 7-Way Adapter part # ETBC7. This comes with everything needed to install the 7-way and install a brake controller. I attached installation instructions and an install video for this product as well.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
