If i only need the axle and nothing else can i use the the axle number 35545I-ST-89? Thanks

Sounds like you don't need the hubs that come with the Dexter Axle part # 35545I-ST-89 and you just want the axle.
For that you would just want the part # T3584F-EZ-8974 that you referenced.
