We were unable to find the weight capacity of your vehicle online, so your best bet will be to contact a Chevrolet dealership for that information.

The Rhino-Rack roof rack system you referenced is a great value for your 2005 Chevrolet Impala and is highly recommended. The Rhino Rack roof rack system that consists of the following part numbers:

Rhino-Rack Vortex Aero Crossbars # RRVA126B-2
Rhino-Rack 2500 Series Leg Kit # RRRLKVA
Custom DK Clamps and Pads # DK055

This roof rack will work well to carry two 50 lbs kayaks as long as the weight of the kayaks remains under the weight capacity of your vehicle's roof. The Rhino-Rack roof rack has a maximum weight capacity of 165 lbs, but I recommend checking with a Chevy dealership to determine the weight capacity of your vehicle's roof before loading any kayaks.

For a kayak carrier to carry your 2 kayaks I recommend the Thule Stacker # TH830. This carrier is the best bet because it holds the kayak up on its sides to maximize the usable space on the load bars.
