The SuperCoils Custom Front Coil Springs # SSC-13 that you referenced fit the 2500 and 3500 versions of the 1997 GMC Savana van, but do NOT fit your 1500 series. However we do offer a front axle suspension kit for your '97 Savana 1500. And thank you for the photo.
Timbren kit # TGMFC1588H fits the 2WD 1500 and installs without any drilling. These rubber jounce springs install in place of the factory bump stops using included hardware and brackets custom-designed for your van. These springs provide progressive resistance as the load increases.
Please note that no suspension kit will increase the weight carrying capacity of a vehicle; that will remain as specified by GMC in your owner's manual.
