Question:

My P/U front hitch is too low for a cargo carrier. Do you have any adaptors to raise it

We offer several hitch mounted cargo carriers that may work for you. The carriers we offer vary in the shank rise and size so I will recommend a couple that you may want to check out.

One of the carriers I recommend is the Pro Series cargo Carrier, part # 63153. This fits 2 inch receiver openings and measures 24 x 60 inches with 5-1/2 inch high side rails. This carrier has a shank rise of 2-1/2 inches. I have attached a product review video you can take a look at.

Another carrier you may want to take a look at is the Curt Cargo Carrier, part # C18110. This measures 20 X 48 and will work with 1-1/4 or 2 inch receiver openings. The rise in the shank for this carrier is 3-3/4 inches.

For a larger cargo carrier we also have the Pro Series carrier, part # PS1040100. This carrier measures 31 X 47 inches and fits 2 inch receiver openings. The shank rise for this carrier is 4 inches.

Using a cargo carrier on the front of the vehicle can obscure the headlights, front turn signals, can block the air flow to the radiator resulting in overheating and can obstruct the driver's view. Some jurisdictions could prohibit using a cargo carrier on the front of a vehicle.

I have attached some product review videos for these products.
