Will Curt Trailer Hitch Work On 1989 Chevrolet Camaro With Aftermarket Dual Exhaust
Question:
What hitch do I need for this vehicle. It has aftermarket twin pipes which I can lower to attach the hitch and will be equipped with air bag suspension.

Helpful Expert Reply:
The Curt Trailer Hitch, part # C11117 is designed to fit the frame of your 1989 Chevrolet Camaro, but the manufacturer states it will not work with dual exhaust.
I have attached the installation instructions you can check out. Since you said the exhaust is an aftermarket system, I cannot tell you that the installation would be successful on your Camaro. You can take a look at the instructions and also the frame on your Camaro to determine if the exhaust would interfere with the hitch.
