Fifth Wheel Hitch and Rail Kit Recommendation for a 1989 Ford F250 Diesel
Question:
I would like to know if I could have a 23 ft long trailer to load my 89 Corvette with low ground clearance on to the trailer deck 3 ft off ground, so I can tied down easy. Would the goose neck of this trailer on 3/4 tonne single wheel rear, has the clearance? not to hit back box of the 8ft box?? while driving county roads with severe dips. Could this deck go over the wheels? Can it carry 4 tons? with electric break

If you are looking for a fifth wheel hitch and set of install rails for your 1989 Ford F250 with a long bed we certainly can help you.
For a rail kit you would want the Reese Kit part # RP30035. This comes with everything to install a rail system in the bed of your truck.
Since you have a long bed truck you wouldn't need a slider hitch like the part # RP30075 that you referenced. Instead a stationary hitch like the part # RP30047 would work great. Long bed trucks give plenty of clearance between the overhang of the trailer and cab of the truck.
You will want to make sure you have at least 6 inches of clearance from the bed rails to the overhang of the trailer so that you don't have the trailer damaging your bed rails on corner with elevation changes.
For towing capacities for you truck you will have to check the owners manual of the vehicle and then compare those figures to the total weight of the setup.
