Can a ST145/80R12 Replace a 4.80x12 Trailer Tire

Question:

I have a 2003 clipper 106 sport pop up. Can I replace my 4.80x12 inch tires with new 145x12 inch radial tires without any issues?

You should have no problem at all replacing your 4.80x12 trailer tires with a 145/80R12 radial tire as they are designed to fit the same 4 inch wide 12 inch diameter rims.

For a radial tire in the 145/80R12 size you would want the Karrier S-Trail ST145/R12 Radial Trailer Tire # AM10140. This tire will be a little less than an inch taller than your current tire and will be a little less than an inch wider as well. You might want to check to make sure you have the fender and frame rail clearances so that you know there won't be any clearance issues.
