The best solution for you would be to get a weight distribution system as long as you are towing within the capacities listed for your vehicle in it's owners manual. A weight distribution system will provide support for the rear suspension of your 2008 Chevy Suburban by distributing some of the trailer's tongue weight to the front axle of the vehicle. Suspension enhancement is the best solution for suspension sag from towing a heavy trailer as it can almost lighten the front suspension by acting as a fulcrum point.

The best way to pick out a weight distribution system is to base it off of the loaded tongue weight of the setup when it is loaded and ready to tow. This figure also includes the weight of any cargo behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle. I attached a help article on determining tongue weight for you to check out as well. You will want the loaded tongue weight of your setup to fall right in the middle of the tongue weight range of the system you use.

Typically tongue weight is 10-15 percent of the total trailer weight, if your trailer is 8,500 lbs when loaded then you would have a tongue weight of between 850 lbs and 1,275 lbs.
