You may need to take a quick measurement to be sure the Air Lift Suspension, part # AL52204 will work on your 2004 Dodge Ram that has been lowered 4 inches.

The Air Lift Spring along with the mounting bracket and the cup spacer will require right at 6 inches between your axle and the mounting location for your jounce stop. If you have at least 6 inches of clearance this system will work for you. If by chance you have more than 6 inches space you can use the included additional spacers to fill the gap.

I have attached the installation instructions for this system you can check out.

We do have an option that may work for you. Depending on how your truck was lowered we have a kit designed to work with lowered trucks. It is the Air Lift SlamAir Air Helper Springs for Lowered Trucks, part # AL59113. This system will not work on trucks that have lowered the truck by notching the frame. It will work if the truck was lowered with shackle or leaf spring drops or flipped axles. This system includes everything need to install this air spring kit. It installs between the truck frame and the leaf springs and includes the springs, mounting brackets, hardware, air lines, and valves. I have attached the installation instructions for this system you can check out. If you decide you want an on board compressor to be able to adjust your air springs from the comfort of your truck cab I recommend the Air Lift Load Controller II Compressor, part # AL25592. This includes an in-cab controller and a gauge that lets you control the amount of air in the springs.
