16k Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommended for Use with Reese Revolution Pin Box
Question:
I have a Reese Revolution on my trailer. I am interested in buying a Curt Q16 fifth wheel. Curt is telling me I can use the Q16, but they dont make a wedge for the Reese Revolution. Does someone make a wedge, or do I have to go with the E16?

The Curt Q series of fifth wheel hitches cannot be used with Reese Revolution or Sidewinder pin boxes because the jaws are too wide on the hitch. I spoke with my contact at Reese to confirm this.
One option would be to go with the E16 hitch you referenced part # C16115 and then the wedge part # RP64FR.
Or for a hitch more similar to the Q16 in features I would go with the Reese 16k Fifth Wheel part # RP30047. This has a 2 jaw system as the Q16 so it would provide a smoother ride quality than the E16 as movement in the jaw of the hitch would be minimized. The correct wedge for this hitch would be part # SWW-03.
