Does the Trunk Pan Shield Get Removed to Install Draw-Tite 13342 on a 2007 Mercedes ML350
Question:
Is the Trunk Pan Rock Guard reinstalled after installing the hitch? It did not mention it on the video.

The installation instructions for the Curt part # 13342 that you referenced say that if you want to reinstall the trunk pan shield you can trim it so that it is compatible with the hitch. This is an optional step. When we installed this hitch on a similar vehicle as your 2007 MB ML350 we just left it off.
