I would plan for the maximum load possible, 10,400 pounds. Tongue weight is approximated as 10-15 percent of gross trailer weight, 1040-1560 pounds in this case. Due to the heavy weight of your enclosed car trailer, I'd recommend going with a system that includes one of the best sway control systems on the market, the Reese Strait-Line, part # RP66130. This system is compatible with trailer tongue weights from 800-1500 lbs, which is ideal for a trailer of that size. The dual-cam is a proactive system that prevents sway from happening in the first place. The trailer is literally forced to stay in line behind the tow vehicle except during turns.
Since you have a V-nose trailer, you might not have access to the top of the trailer frame at the 29-30 inch back from the center of the coupler mark where the chain hanger brackets would need to slip over the top of the trailer frame. If that's the case, there are bolt-on hangers available as part # RP58305.
I'll link you to some FAQ articles that you might find helpful.
