Can the Swagman Bike Rack part # S64710 Be Used to Carry 3 Bikes on a 2006 Subaru Forester

Question:

Can I put 3 bicycles on the factory roof rack of a 2006 subaru forester? The S64710 roof carrier looks inexpensive and easy to use but Im not sure my factory crossbars would take the weight of 3 bicycles.

In order to determine if you can carry up to 3 bikes on the roof of your 2006 Subaru Forester you will need to refer to the owners manual of your vehicle to first determine the weight capacity of the roof of your vehicle. If the roof has the capacity for the weight of your 3 bikes plus the weight of the # S64710 then you would be good to go. This rack weighs 6 lbs.

This rack is also designed to fit crossbars that are up to 3 inches in width. If your crossbars are less than 3 inches wide this rack will fit it.
