To choose a weight distribution system you will need to go by the total tongue weight of the set up. This is calculated by taking the tongue weight of the trailer, when loaded and ready to tow, and adding to that the weight of anything loaded behind the rear axle of the tow vehicle.

The Pro Series weight distribution hitch # PS49583 you referenced will be more of an overkill because the tongue weight won't be high enough on a 3,200 pound trailer.

The two I recommend are the Pro Series # PS49581 (550 pound tongue weight) or # PS49582 (750 pound tongue weight).

In order to complete the setup, you will need a hitch ball. I recommend # A-90 for 2-inch or # 19286 for 2-5/16 hitch ball.

I included a couple helpful articles for you to look at too.
