7-Way and Brake Controller Recommendation for a 2012 Ford Escape with 4-Way

Question:

need hook up for Casita trailer to Ford Escape 2012. Casita has electric brakes and 7conductor plug. Escape has factory hitch with 4 conductor plug. Want proportional brake controller. Thanks,

For your 2012 Ford Escape that has a 4-way wiring harness currently you would only need the part # ETBC7 plus a brake controller. The # ETBC7 comes with everything needed to convert the 4-way to a 7-way plus install a brake controller.

For a brake controller I would recommend the Prodigy P2 Brake Controller part # 90885. This is our best selling proportional brake controller because of how well it works and how easy it is to setup.
