Fifth Wheel Hitch Recommendation for 2015 Chevrolet Silverado Towing 16,870 LB Trailer

Question:

I am getting a5th wheel Montana,has a shipping weight of 13081. The carrying capacity is 3789. The total of the above is 16870.the dealer is telling me that a 16k hitch will Handel this load, is this correct. It does not sound right to me. Any information on this would be appreciated. Thank you
