Hub and Drum Assembly for 6000 lb Axle  

Question:

I have a homemade trailer with 6k axles. What I have is LM67048 outer a 25580 inner,seal is 2 1/4 ID, OD is 3 3/8. I have replaced the old style brakes and need new hub and drum assembly 6 lug and a set of wheels. I already have a set of 15 inch tires. Which hub and drum assembly do I want ans I would like it with the bearings and seals.

Given the information you have provided, the Trailer Hub and Drum, part # 8-201-5UC3 is what you are needing. This assumes that the brake assemblies you have are 12 inch. The bearings, cap, and seals are included with the Hub and drum.

However, this hub wouldn't be compatible with a 15 inch wheel, which is what you were wanting because you already have a set of tires for a 15 inch wheel. You'll need to go up in size to a 16 inch wheel/tire combo. You'll want to choose a wheel/tire whose capacity is equal to at least half the capacity of your axle.
