Recommendation for Towing a Pop Up Camper that Needs 4 inch Ball Mount Rise and Carry Bike Rack
Question:
I currently tow a Livinlite Quicksilver 10 using a hitch adapter with a 4 inch rise. I was wondering if there was a product or combination of products similar to the Curt D210 multipurpose ball mount that would allow me to both tow my trailer and mount a bike carrier that I have but still allow for the 4 inch rise? I have considered some of the dual hitch extenders/adapters but they appear to effect the maximum hitch weight. Since I am hoping to carry 4 bikes, this plus the weight of the tongue weight of the trailer will be approaching the 300 lbs. Thanks,

Your best option is going to be to use a ball mount with a 4 inch rise like the part # D-28 and then use a towing bike rack like the Swagman E-Spec # S94FR that will attach to the shank of the ball mount and allow you to carry a couple bikes. The # D-28 has a very long shank which will give you enough room for the bike rack to install onto it. It measures 8-1/4 inches from the pin hole to the ball platform bracket.
Using a hitch adapter to get the additional rise and then use a dual hitch adapter wouldn't be ideal because of the reduced capacity of the setup.
I attached review videos for both products for you to check out as well.
