Trailer Wiring Recommendation for a 2012 Chevy Silverado
Question:
hello wanting to purchase this Hopkins Custom Fit Vehicle Wiring for the 2012 Silverado by Chevrolet but not sure about the frame fitting on my 2012 Chevy Silverado ls with standard bumper. will this fit. please advise. do not see how - self tapping bolts - not sure where that would go thanks

Yes, the Hopkins Trailer Wiring Harness part # HM40975 that you referenced will fit your 2012 Chevy Silverado. It will attach below your bumper using the self tapping screws.
You would want part # HM40920 for a connector that will install in the cutout area of your rear bumper. Check out the install video I attached for more info.
