7-Way/4-Pole Trailer Connector for 2004 Ford F150

Question:

I have a 2004 F150 crewcab 4x4 FX4 that has the factory 4 pole and 7 pole connector on it. I would like to convert to this model. Do you make the wiring harness that would plug in and replace my current harness since I dont think the current harness will work?

Your F150 7-way would plug into the vehicle on the frame rail using a rectangular connector that's different from the round US Car connector that the # HM40975 uses. However, the other end of the factory pigtail (harness that joins 7-way to the connector on the frame rail) should have a US connector that plugs directly into the rear of your existing 7-way. The US connector will have a gray clip that's you'll slide toward the front of the vehicle. At that point, you should be able to unplug the connector from the existing 7-way. The harness you unplugged would be compatible with the # HM40975 you referenced.
