Best Way to Run Wiring for Hopkins Smart Hitch Backup Camera Into Cab of 2010 Ford F150
Question:
Where is the best place to enter the cab from under the truck? Most of your videos show a grommet under the door sill to enter through but I dont think the 2010 have them because I cannot find them anywhere.

The easiest way to find the location of any grommets in the floor pan of the vehicle would be to look at it from underneath. Many times there's a grommet located on the driver's side, but if there isn't, you can pass the wire under the cab and up into the engine compartment and through a grommet in the firewall. There should be a few factory grommets that allow the wiring to pass through the firewall. Use a sharp knife to cut a slit in the grommet and pass your wire through. Be careful not to nick any wires and be sure to check the area on the other side of the grommet to make sure you don't inadvertently cut anything important.
I've provided a photo showing where the firewall grommet is located in a 2011 Ford truck. It's located on the firewall between the brake pedal and emergency brake pedal.
